Bad beat. No…terrible beat. Plain and simple. The Kings were up 65-55 at halftime. They were still up 93-84 as things went into the 4th quarter. Then things fell apart for the Kings at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Most of the final minutes were neck and neck, which was just fine for our Kings +5.5 bet. Fast forward a bit and there’s 20 seconds left. The Kings are down by 4 and they foul Jamal Murray. He goes to the free throw line, leaving us in a helpless state as we pray for just one of the two shots to miss. He tosses up the first one…SPLASH! Never a doubt. The second one goes up…and…BOOM! Our dreams are crushed and the Kings lose by 6. Horrible beat right there, but it happens in the world of sports betting!
